My son didn’t shut down the laptop properly after last using it and now I think it’s died!

Can it be saved?

it was saying update to be done then kept shutting down. I tried to restore it but it kept failing.

Now it keeps trying to update bios which fails as not verified and pressing F11 to get a reset doesn’t work.

I’ ve tried a few online videos and reading through the forum but no luck.

I can get the startup menu but seem unable to select anything.

I’m not clued up on all this so simple terms if you can help please lol

I should add I managed to run checks on the hard drive and everything passed
