HP won't complete update. Been saying, "....update 91%...." for 3 days & I'm unable to use laptop

Beyond frustrated.

I've turned it off (even though it said not to).  I mean after 2 days I had to try something.

Please help!

That might actually have been a very BAD thing to do -- if this was a Windows update -- because that will leave your PC in a corrupted state and only reinstalling the OS from scratch will fix that.  And that will erase everything from your PC in the process.

 

We need to know the model number of the laptop, its age, and the OS version you were running.
