Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My computer started acting working but no error messages on start up. I went to use it yesterday and started signing in and screen went black. I searched and found how to do the system test. Warning hard drive/SSD smart check : software error. I can't get into my computer for a back up. I can't start on f10 safe mode. Is this drive toast and needs replaced? Or is there a software fix for this?
