Hi @1Lirpa1,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding resetting your laptop!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand you want to perform a hard reset on your HP Pavilion laptop. Please note that we cannot provide or generate BIOS/biolock numbers or passwords.

You can try the following troubleshooting steps instead:

Hard Reset (Power Reset) – no data loss

Power off the laptop completely.

Disconnect the power adapter and remove the battery (if removable).

Hold down the power button for about 15 seconds to drain any residual power.

Reconnect the power adapter (and battery if removed).

Press the power button to turn on the laptop.

Other recovery options (if the issue is Windows login or booting):

Try pressing Esc repeatedly after powering on, then choose F11 – System Recovery.

From there, you can perform a system restore or reset Windows to factory settings.

I hope this helps.

I'm glad I could help! 😊 If this resolved your issue, please mark it as "Accepted Solution" and click "Yes" on "Was this reply helpful?" Your feedback not only keeps us going but also helps others find the solution faster! 👍
