Hibernation wake-up Blue screen SPUVcbv64.sys error

HP Spectre x360 - 13-ac002na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

After  hibernating my laptop often wakes-up with the blue screen error SPUVcbv64.sys - It doesn't happen every time but often enough to be irritating. I haven't noticed any pattern. I always close the lid to hibernate. It always recovers ok. I have up to date Windows 10 and use Norton virus checker. I have installed HP suggested upgrades. Can  you help?

Try reinstalling the camera driver on the following link.

Thanks, DP-K. The new driver worked for several days, so I thought it was ok, but today on shutting the lid to hibernate, with Excel open it failed on waking up. After the restart, Excel wouldn’t load, but did after  another restart.

I am having the same problem and have a newer version of the camera driver than the one linked to here. I've checked to make sure I have all the latest HP and windows updates installed. Were you able to resolve the problem? If so, may I ask what your solution was?

The problem is not completely resolved. Since March it has only ocurred once or twice, so not as annoying as it was. I can only assume either a Windows or HP software update has helped. Sorry I can't be much more help.

I've got the same bluescreen after standby: spuvcbv64.sys "system thread exception not handled".

 

Unlock was done via Windows Hello. As soon as the dekstop appeared the notebook showed the bluescreen.
