Product: Elitebook Folio 9470M
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When I attempted to insert a SSD into my elitebook, the screen turned off. I tried to turn it off and on again, and now I have a constant high-pitched beeping noise, whilst there is no life whatsoever from the screen. No LEDS turn on, nothing at all happens.

 

Please help

You tried to insert an SSD while the PC was up and running, really?

Sorry, I meant to say that I inserted the SSD while the laptop was off. After I turned it on, it showed the HP logo then started behaving strangely

OK, what was the state of the SSD?  Was it blank? Did you already install Windows to it, including the boot partition?
