How do i fix this

Basiacly when i created a usb for hp diagnostics i wanted to create a partition of the older version of the hp diagnostics but it just said the following:This setup will perform an upgrade of 'HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI'. Do you want to continue? , i clicked yes and then it said the following:A later version of 'HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI' is already installed on this machine. The setup cannot continue. , so i created a newer version of the diagnostics on the c drive , so i created the usb of the older version on my pc so i can copy the contents of the usb to a partition on my laptop but then it would not be bootable and i want to delete the newer version i created on the c drive i know its a long issue but i hope anyone can help
