There is an program called PC Screen Watcher that has been closing all my windows without warning. I have uninstalled this app, yet the problem persists. Also when I search for the program on my device I cannot find a trace.

I have included a picture of the message that pops up from this troublesome program.

This appears to be a monitoring tool - perhaps used by parents to control access and activities.

App seems to have been around for years.

Insidious, and maybe hard to get rid of - the website is pretty vague about controlling the application.

One thing I did find that can help:

Actually, even in administrator role, PC Screen Watcher cannot be killed from Windows task manager. The only problem is that as an administrator there is a way to stop PC Screen Watcher from restarted automatically when Windows restarts - This is the only reason you should not give your child administrator user account.

Assuming you have administrative access to your computer,

Check and Stop Screen Watcher from starting.

Right-Click in the Task Bar > Start Task Manager

Tab Startup

Right-Click on the offending application > Disable

What else?

Search the 'net for information.

For example, search for "Screen Watcher app"
