HP 240 G6 Bios update failed and loop in black screen.

The latest version of Bios do not complete de update and keeps looping and restarting the notebook in black screen. I try others versions but also dont work, with same problem (looping).

The earlier version installed that works, is about 2017 and I dont remember the number of version, I suspect that was the first after manufacture, can you please send me the compatible version or the right file to update ?

I cannot find any such HP notebook model in existence.

I can find a 240 G6 or a 242 G2.

Unfortunately, if you installed the latest BIOS update (F.58), you cannot go back to an earlier BIOS version according to the F.58 release notes:

- Due to the security updates installed by this BIOS update, previous BIOS versions cannot be reinstalled after this BIOS update is run.

Have you tried making a USB BIOS recovery drive with the F.58 BIOS file?

If not, you may want to do that since you can't go back to an earlier BIOS revision.
