I bout my computer in August 2015 brand new from Best Buy. The other day it just went out unexpected with no warning while i was using it. I took it to geek squad at best buy and the diagnosed that the motherboard is no good. They didn't go into specifics to say the least. They threw an outrageous dollar amount out there to fix it so i denied it after seeing some of the post on the community here. This seems to be an ongoing issue with this model computer. To my understanding some people have gotten better luck with getting someone who will listen to the issue. Granted i know that my computer is out of warranty etc. This is insane that hp would allow this to continue with no remedy to those who still have this even after warranty. I say this because it doesn't seem like minor glitch or simple fix. DO I HAVE ANY LEG TO STAND ON TO HAVE HP FIX THIS OR AT LEAST GIVE ME A REPLACEMENT MOTHERBOARD?

This is just a self-help Community largely staffed by volunteers who do not work for HP -- so there is nothing we can do for you about this here.
You would have to deal with HP directly for any replacement.
If you live in the US or Canada, contact information is on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/phone-assist.html#section1
If you live elsewhere, contact information is on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/ww-contact-us.html
NOTE: After you get through, stay on the line until you are finally able to talk to some one -- it can take a while!
