I tried running the installer on three different computers and all had the same problem. I tried using another flash drive but nothing works. I downloaded the installer for my HP 350 G1 for Windows 8.1

Normally a copy of the BIOS is on the HDD and is used as a backup.

Try copying to a USB.

I'm just trying to create a flash drive to restore the BIOS on my laptop. A question on the program. I know what program to download, I know how to use it, I just can not work with. The longer button is active and all I need to do is figure out how to fix it

Well I'll step back then.

Sometimes these BIOS files just don't work, this particular one claims to be for 2 Main Board types

PlatformName1=21B7
PlatformName2=21B8

but is probably only the 021B7.FD is present, and if you have the B8 version it probably wont work.

I would have aslo told you this...

Mine is a 8130.

AND only an 8130 BIOS should work.

But I wont, I'll stop trying to help.
