Hi:
If the factory recovery system didn't work, you should be able to clean install W10.
Make bootable installation media using another Windows PC and the media creation tool from the link below.
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
When you get to the part that asks 'Where do you want to install Windows,' delete every partition on the hard drive, leaving just one partition of unallocated space.
Click Next, and W10 should install.
After the installation has completed, you can install the drivers and available software from your PC's support page.

I am able to boot it into safe mode. And I can access the internet on chrome. Can I download it from my pc also as I can access the internet now? And by the way, earlier for recover I got a 3 pc set of CDs from Hp. Can I use that?

Hi:
Yes, you should be able to as long as you can connect to the internet.
What I don't know is if you can run the program in safe mode, but I guess you have nothing to lose by trying it.
And yes...if you have bootable recovery media, you can use that too.
Make the W10 installer first in case the recovery disks don't work, or then you have nothing.

I have downloaded the media creation tool and there were two options: upgrade your pc or make installation media.
I selected upgrade my pc.Then it showed that windows 10 cannot be installed while on audit mode.
I have tried the bootable cds but it shows error eveytime.
And thanks for the continued assistance.

You're very welcome.
You have to select the option to make the bootable USB flash drive installation media so you can boot from it to clean install W10.
If that doesn't work either, you will have to use another working Windows PC.
If you don't have one, you will have to take your chances with the recovery disks you have and hope they work.

Thank you for your continued support. I really appreciate it. I followed the steps and my pc is back alive again!.
Just one more thing to ask that I have downloaded the Hp Support Assistant. Do I need to download drivers from the website or it will download by itself?
Thanking you again for your precious help.

Anytime.
Glad to have been of assistance.
The support assistant should install the drivers you need, but check the device manager listing and see if there are any devices with little ! marks next to them.
Those would need drivers.
