Welcome to HP Forums and Thanks for the post. 

 

I understand that you need assistance in performing a recovery on your computer using the USB recovery kit, is that right?

Not to worry, I will be glad to assist you.

May I know the exact product number of your computer? Click here. Please do not share the serial number of your computer.

 

Shut down your computer. 

Connect the USB drive with the OS setup files. 

Turn the computer On and keep tapping the F9 key on startup to get the Boot options screen.

Select the USB drive and hit enter to start the installation. 

You can also refer to this HP Guided troubleshooter for assistance. 

Before you start the installation, recommend you run a system test to make sure all the components are working fine. Click here.
