HP Recommended

HP Laptop Model 14-cf1020ca.

Installed win7 Pro as I'm running older apps not supported by Win 10. Cannot find ethernet drivers to update and install .NET Framework and other requirements. Makes the computer kind of useless now.

The only suggestion I can offer would be to install the latest W7 ethernet driver directly from the Realtek site:

 

Win7 and Server 2008 R2 Auto Installation Program

 

Realtek PCIe 1G / 2.5G / 5G / 10G Ethernet Family Controller Software

 

You're going to need a lot more drivers than the ethernet driver which will not exist for W7 such as the graphics, Wi-Fi and USB3.1 drivers.
