Creating a BIOS Recovery USB Drive:
- Visit the HP Customer Support website.
- Enter the model number "11m-ap0000" or "Pavilion M3 60" in the search bar to find your specific model's support page.
- Once on the support page, navigate to the "Drivers and Downloads" section.
- Look for BIOS or Firmware updates. There should be an option to download the BIOS update file.
- Download the BIOS update file suitable for your laptop.
- Follow the instructions provided on the support page to create a BIOS recovery USB drive. Usually, this involves extracting the downloaded file and copying it onto a USB drive formatted with FAT32.
- Make sure to follow the instructions carefully to avoid any issues during the BIOS recovery process.
Restoring Windows 11:
- If your laptop came with Windows 11 preinstalled, there might be a recovery partition on the hard drive. You can access this by restarting your laptop and repeatedly pressing a specific key (often F11 or F9) during startup to enter the recovery environment.
- Once in the recovery environment, follow the on-screen instructions to restore Windows 11 to its factory settings.
- If you can't access the recovery partition or if it's not working properly, you might need to reinstall Windows 11 using an installation USB drive.
- You can download the official Windows 11 installation media creation tool from the Microsoft website on another computer and use it to create a bootable USB drive.
- Boot your Pavilion M3 60 convertible laptop from the USB drive and follow the prompts to reinstall Windows 11.
- During the installation process, you'll have the option to format the hard drive and perform a clean install of Windows 11, which will erase all existing data and restore the operating system to its default state.
