My Hp device was shipped to me and appears to not have windows activated or not have a valid windows key. Can someone help me with this?

My device is an OMEN Transcend Gaming Laptop 14-fb0xxx.

So far I can use all the features on my computer; I just have an annoying watermark telling me to activate windows (go to settings to activate windows).

HP would not have sold that model PC with W11 Enterprise.

That OS is only available to corporations for business class PCs.

The PC probably came with W11 Home.

Download and install the free Showkey Plus app from the Microsoft Store.

If the PC came with Windows from HP, the Showkey Plus report should show a Windows OEM product key and the version of Windows the key is good for.

Once you have that information, you will be able to install the correct version of Windows that will activate with the OEM product key in the notebook's BIOS.

What does the Showkey Plus report indicate?
