Hi @Nilanja007,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand you’ve reset your laptop and are now unable to access Microsoft Office because you’ve forgotten your email, password, and product key. Let’s go through a few steps to recover or set up access again.

a. Check for Preinstalled Office License

If your HP laptop came with Microsoft Office preinstalled, it’s usually linked to the Microsoft account you used during the initial setup — not to a printed product key.

Go to https://account.microsoft.com/services/ and sign in with any Microsoft accounts you may have used before.

Check if your Office subscription or license is listed under “Services & subscriptions.”

b. Use Windows Linked Digital License

Press Windows + I → Accounts → Your Info to check if you’re logged in with a Microsoft account.

If so, that same account may be tied to your Office license. Try signing into Office with it.

c. Recover Forgotten Microsoft Account

Go to https://account.live.com/username/recover and follow the on-screen steps to find your Microsoft email.

If you remember your email but not the password, use https://account.live.com/password/reset to recover access.

d. Check Product Key Stickers or Documentation

Some older HP laptops include a COA (Certificate of Authenticity) label under the laptop or inside the battery compartment with the 25-character Office key.

If you purchased Office separately (e.g., card or retail box), the key will be printed inside the package or sent via email if bought online.

I hope this helps.

I'm glad I could help! 😊 If this resolved your issue, please mark it as "Accepted Solution" and click "Yes" on "Was this reply helpful?" Your feedback not only keeps us going but also helps others find the solution faster! 👍

Take care and have an amazing day ahead! 🚀

Best regards,
