Hi @Adil2842

  1. Check USB Port and Connection:

    • Make sure the USB flash drive is properly connected to the USB port. Try using different USB ports on your laptop, especially those that support USB 3.0/3.2, as these are typically faster and more reliable for booting.
  2. Verify Bootable USB Creation:

    • Ensure that the bootable USB was created correctly. Use tools like Rufus or the Windows Media Creation Tool, making sure the partition scheme (MBR or GPT) and target system (BIOS or UEFI) match your laptop’s configuration.
  3. Enter BIOS Setup:

    • Restart your laptop and immediately press the F10 key repeatedly to enter the BIOS Setup Utility.
    • Navigate through the BIOS settings to ensure that USB boot support is enabled. This option can sometimes be found under the "Advanced" or "Boot" tabs.
    • Ensure the boot order is set to prioritize USB devices.
  4. Secure Boot and Legacy Mode:

    • In the BIOS, check if Secure Boot is enabled. If you're attempting to boot from a non-UEFI bootable drive, you may need to disable Secure Boot.
    • Enable Legacy Boot (if available). Note that changing these settings can affect the system’s security, so proceed with caution and change them back once you're done.
  5. Check USB Drive Format:

    • Ensure that the USB drive is formatted correctly. It should be formatted as FAT32 for compatibility with UEFI systems.
  6. Test on Another Computer:

    • Try booting the USB drive on another computer to ensure it functions as expected. This can help determine if the issue is with the USB drive or the laptop.
  7. Recreate the Bootable USB:

    • If the USB drive still doesn't appear, recreate it using a different method or tool. Sometimes using a different USB flash drive might also solve the issue.
