Hi, I have an 8-year-old HP laptop with serial number CND8110RGH.
It originally came with Windows Professional but the license is showing
as KMS activated and not working properly. Can you help me get the
original Windows product key that came with this laptop?

Hi:

 

According to the product specs for your notebook, it came with FreeDOS from HP which means that there is no Windows OEM product key in the BIOS.

When a notebook comes with FreeDOS, customers have to furnish their own operating system and product key.
