Hello.

I'm have an issue with resume from hibernation - sometimes it works, but sometimes mine Kubuntu 17.04 AMD64 is unable to resume and boots as usual.

After such boot there is messages in dmesg log:

[ 6.006477] PM: Using 3 thread(s) for decompression.
PM: Loading and decompressing image data (559763 pages)...
[ 6.006518] Hibernate inconsistent memory map detected!
[ 6.006531] PM: Image mismatch: architecture specific data
[ 6.006545] PM: Read 2239052 kbytes in 0.01 seconds (223905.20 MB/s)
[ 6.007311] PM: Error -1 resuming
[ 6.007315] PM: Failed to load hibernation image, recovering.
[ 6.007644] PM: Basic memory bitmaps freed
[ 6.007645] Restarting tasks ... done.
[ 6.278375] PM: Hibernation image not present or could not be loaded.

Asked Google for "Image mismatch: architecture specific data", and found this patch: https://patchwork.kernel.org/patch/9386175/

So, it's looks like that BIOS has provided consistent e820 map and kernel detected it and decided to kill saved state and make fresh boot.

Tried to add acpi_osi="!Linux" acpi_osi="Windows 2015" to cmdline, but it does not helped.

What can i try to fix this issue?

It was present on BIOS F.05 and F.09, and still here on BIOS F.36.

Thank you.
