Laptop Stuck in recovery screen

Hey everybody.

So a while back (2015~2016) I bought this laptop (HP ENVY 17-j150LA) and I loved it. It worked beautifully for like 3 months. Then it never worked again. I took it to at least 10 different places to get it fixed and it's always the same.

Its fixed, it works for 3 months, it dies and repeat.

Now I recently got it fixed, and I want to re-install windows 8.1. But I'm having problems with it.

I tried the built in recovery method. HP RECOVERY MANAGER. But it failed, and now I'm stuck in this loop of the fix screen. It starts up, asks me if I want to continue to windows 8.1 or another option (recovery manager and such things). If I click  continue, it restarts. And nothing else works.

I managed to get a USB Flash drive, and I installed windows 8.1 in it. But the laptop won't recognize it in the BOOT screen.

So my computer is once again stuck in limbo. Please, I would appreciate it if someone could help me re-install Windows 8.1
