HP Laptop PC 15s-fq2000 (2D119AV)

I have only had my laptop for two weeks and yet every time I turn it on there is a little icon bottom right of screen which says a restart is needed to install updates?  Surely this shouldn't happen each time (I do use it most days)

Go to Windows update in settings and select pause updates.

Type Windows update settings in the search box to find it.

That may resolve the issue for a short time, as in one week.

This is something that Microsoft has done.

Everyone is going through this hassle. It isn't only you.

I pause and ignore it until I have the time to let it update.

I tend to wait for a week,  so I don't get an update that will crash my OS.

Microsoft has ben know to yank bad updates.
