@Moni601, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

If your HP Envy x360 isn't turning on, you can follow these troubleshooting steps to identify and potentially resolve the issue:

Check Power Supply:

  • Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into both the laptop and a working electrical outlet.
  • If using a power adapter, check for any signs of wear and tear, which could affect connectivity.

Perform a Hard Reset:

  • Disconnect the power cord from the laptop.
  • Remove any external devices (USB drives, external hard drives, etc.).
  • Press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds to drain any residual power.
  • Reconnect the power supply and try turning on the laptop again.

Inspect for Visible Damage:

  • Look at the laptop’s ports and battery (if removable) for any physical damage, dirt, or obstructions.
  • Check for any bent pins in the power input port.

Test with a Different Power Adapter:

  • If possible, try using a different power adapter that is compatible with your HP Envy x360 to rule out a faulty power supply.

Check for Display Issues:

  • Shine a flashlight on the screen to check if there's a faint image displayed. If so, the issue might be with the screen backlight.
  • Connect your laptop to an external monitor to verify if the issue is related to the laptop display.

Remove the Battery:

  • If your model allows for battery removal, take it out and attempt to power the laptop using only the AC adapter.
