Hi @MeMe77,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your all-in-one computer is stuck in tablet mode and you can't find the usual button to switch it back to desktop mode, you can try the following steps to resolve the issue:

Method 1: Using the Action Center

Open Action Center:

  • Click on the Action Center icon (a speech bubble or square icon) located at the bottom-right corner of your screen near the clock and date. If the icon is not visible, swipe from the right edge of the screen or press Windows key + A.

Toggle Tablet Mode:

  • Look for the Tablet mode button in the Action Center. If it’s highlighted, click it to turn off Tablet mode.

Method 2: Using Windows Settings

Open Settings:

  • Click on the Start Menu and select Settings (gear icon).

Navigate to System:

  • In the Settings window, click on System.

Select Tablet:

  • In the left sidebar, click on Tablet.

Change Tablet Mode Settings:

  • Under When I sign in, select Never use tablet mode or Use desktop mode.
  • Under When this device automatically switches tablet mode on or off, select Don’t ask me and don’t switch.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
