Hello everyone please assist me. Lately my hp laptop is not switching on unless I put in the charger. And when the charger is connected is doesn't charge the only thing that is does it only show me that the charger is connected so I am very confused because I don't what could be the problem. Immediately after a disconnect the charge is just switch off. Even if I charge it the whole night without interruption. Please help me

Sounds to me like you need a new battery.

 

Run the battery check program using the HP support assistant software.
