Hi @Luge6 ,

Thank you for choosing HP Community,

I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your laptop not powering up. Here are some general troubleshooting steps you might consider for an HP laptop:

  1. Check Power Supply:
    • Ensure your laptop is connected to a working electrical outlet.
    • Check if the power adapter's LED is on when plugged in; if not, it might be defective.
  2. Perform a Hard Reset:
    • Disconnect the power adapter and press and hold the power button for about 15-20 seconds.
    • Reconnect the power adapter, then attempt to turn on the laptop.
  3. Check for Faulty Hardware:
    • Disconnect any attached devices (USB drives, external monitors, etc.) and try powering it up again.
    • Check for any blink codes on the keyboard which may indicate hardware issues.
  4. Inspect Display:
    • Sometimes, the laptop might be on, but the display isn't working. Check for power indication lights or any faint image on the screen.
  5. Try an External Monitor:
    • Connect your laptop to an external monitor to see if the laptop's display is the issue.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, it might be necessary to consult with an HP support technician or visit an authorized service center for further diagnosis and repair. Let me know if you need assistance with finding support resources or service options.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
