Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Since  yesterday my hp pavilion 15 stays in the sleepmodus. I tried a “ hard restart” but doesn’t help. Everytime when I start my laptop it stays in the sleepmodus. Can someone help me?

Welcome to HP Support Community

Let's try to forcefully shut down the Notebook and then perform the power drain

 - Remove the Battery and plug in only the AC adapter.
- Turn on the Laptop without the Battery.
- while it's turning on remove the Ac adapter, this will force shut down the Laptop.
- Without the Ac adapter and Battery, press and hold the Power Button for 30 secs.
- Plug back everything and power on the Notebook

Let me know if the Notebook powers on and boots up

Have a great day 😊

Thanks for the tip. But I have a question, when I remove the battery Will I loose my garantie? Mine laptop is 16 months old.

If your Notebook has a detachable Battery, then unplugging the Battery will not void the warranty 😊
