I am needing help, factory resetting pc and now it’s went through the whole resetting process but is stuck on a loop of cutting on and off and comes to a blue screen that says installing windows and is stuck at 64% what can I do to get off of this. I cannot get it off the screen to do anything with the laptop at this time.

Welcome to the HP Forum. Sawadee Krap 🙏 (Hello)!

You should have backed up data before modifying the current Windows installation.

Are you only connecting a mouse when doing a Windows reset? I would remove the mouse; use the touch pad.

Resetting Windows problems or reinstalling Windows problems can also be caused by faulty hardware.

Resetting Windows within an active Windows session can fail if Windows system files are super messed up.

Try to check your PC's hardware using HP Diagnostics as follows:

Start the PC. Repeatedly tap the "ESC" key.

Select "F2". Run extensive system and component tests to confirm: a drive problem, a memory problem, or other component problem.

Let the Forum know how the hardware tests do.

You might have to try a HP Cloud Recovery if your PC qualifies and hardware tests are good to go.

Regards
