Hi. I have a HP Pavilion X360 14-BA064TX laptop that I need to re-install Windows 10 OS on. I tried using the HP Cloud Recovery Tool, but it said that my Product ID is invalid. What are my other options for Recovery? Thanks.

Hi:
If the PC is no longer supported by the HP cloud recovery tool, you can make a plain W10 USB installation flash drive with the Microsoft W10 media creation tool from the link below:
Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com)
You will not need a product key to reinstall W10, as the product key is encrypted in your notebook's BIOS.
Boot from the installation media, install W10 and after W10 has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from your notebook's support page.

Thanks for the prompt reply, Paul.
I have actually tried the Microsoft Media Creation Tool to reinstall several times, on a new SSD after my old one got fried.
My problem, though, is I get driver errors after install. Some errors get resolved after installing drivers from the HP website, but there are a few persistent problems:
1) the keyboard backlight works while in BIOS, but not inside Windows 10
2) letter keys don't respond while on the Windows welcome/logon screen, so I have to input password using virtual keyboard, but once inside Windows the letter keys are functional
3) also weird is while on the welcome screen, if I press on the Ease of Access icon (without even opening the virtual keyboard), the physical keys respond
4) the Arrow keys don't work inside BIOS, but work white in Windows.
After reading about it, I was hoping to use the HP Cloud Recovery Tool, as it might be able to install the correct drivers.

You're very welcome.
It seems that HP is not providing the cloud recovery tool for PC's that are more than 5 years old, because I have noticed that many PC's that used to be supported by the tool, are no longer supported.
If you don't have any devices showing up in the device manager that need drivers, unfortunately I wouldn't be able to help you with the unusual type of issues you are having with your notebook.
If you do, post the device description and hardware ID's for them.
Use this guide for how to find the hardware ID for a device:

Hi, Paul. I decided to Disable the Action Keys in BIOS (which is not the default), and amazingly the keyboard backlight is now working in Windows.
However, the physical keyboard keys are still not responding at the welcome screen, until I click on the Ease of Access icon (please see attached video in Google drive). Physical keys are functioning once inside Windows. Any fix for this issue? Thanks,

Hi:
The only software that I know of that has anything to do with the keyboard/Fn keys is this:
