@SACHOG, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your desktop!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand how frustrating it can be when your laptop won’t boot up. The "NTLDR is missing" error usually happens when your computer is trying to boot from a non-bootable device or if the boot files are corrupted. Let's try a few steps to get your system running again:

Disconnect any external devices – If you have any USB drives, external hard disks, or CDs/DVDs connected, unplug them (except for your mouse and keyboard) and try restarting your laptop. Sometimes, the system tries to boot from an external device instead of the internal hard drive.

Check your boot order – If the issue persists, restart your laptop and press F10 (or Esc + F10 on some models) as soon as it powers on to enter the BIOS. From there, check if your internal hard drive is set as the first boot device.z

Use a bootable recovery disk – If the above steps don’t work, you may need a Windows installation or recovery disk to repair the missing boot files. You can create one using another PC if needed. Boot from the recovery disk and choose Repair your computer > Troubleshoot > Startup Repair to attempt a fix.

Let me know how it goes or if you need further guidance!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
