Probook 450 G6
Microsoft Windows 11

I am attempting to do a clean install on an HP Probook 450 G6 laptop after replacing a failing m.2 Nvme drive.

The new 512GB m.2 Nvme drive is seen correctly in the UEFI BIOS & in a Live Linux Mint Boot.

I have downloaded & extracted the intel RST driver from both HP & the current one from Intel placed them on a flash drive & attempted to install drivers from a USB flash drive during the installation. Both Win10 & 11 install behave exactly the same. No compatible drivers were found.

I am at a impasse at this point.

Update - I downloaded the latest build of Win11 via the media creation tool today 08-25-22 & suddenly it can find the driver for the intel RST and can see both the M.2 and SATA drives in this PC without the need for a manual driver install.
