Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

My notebook (m6-w101dx) was working fine but then unexpectedly would not power up. I checked charger/adaptor and outlet and thought it was battery so I replaced the battery,  Still no power. (Tried the BIOS reset too.) With a new charger plugged in I show at the charger port 7 seconds of white lite followed by 2 seconds orange lite and then 7 secs white followed by 2 secs orange etc.  When I press the power button the power button flashes white once and the CAPS key simultaneously flashes white one time as well.  At a loss.  Any help appreciated.

@Nopower1

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,

Beep tones or blinking LEDs on startup usually indicate a problem with the basic functionality of a critical component, and you might need technical assistance to resolve the error.

A hardware component, such as memory module or bootable hard drive or disc, was installed improperly or is loose because the computer was jarred.

As we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now.

I would request you to contact our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to sort this out. HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link:  www.hp.com/contacthp/

Please feel free to contact us here anytime you need any further assistance. Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.
