Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Is there another alternative where I can go to download BIOS recovery for my laptop brand since my laptop is retired/old.  HP.com doesn't support my laptop brand no longer.  I was following this youtube creator (https://youtu.be/5LLPhdymPeo

My caplock is blinking and I have a black screen.

Hi:

 

Here are the info and exe files for the last BIOS update HP released for your notebook.

 

Info:

 

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp61001-61500/sp61005.html

 

Exe:

 

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp61001-61500/sp61005.exe 

 

Since the file is an exe file and can only be run in Windows, you will have to figure out a way to extract the actual BIOS files so you can recover the BIOS from a USB flash drive.

 

Unfortunately, I don't know how that is done.
