OMEN 15 en0003np
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi dear community members,

I have bought OMEN 15 en0003np and I saw that the fan constantly works and produces noise. I have checked the recommendations and some people stated updating the bios, so I headed for the HP driver page and selected the correct bios driver (f.7), however, it stated that my bios version was newer, I installed anyway.

After installation, now, I have black/blank screen issue sometimes when I turn the computer on, I can see the Desktop page and then in a second the screen goes blank. I saw that this is caused by a corrupt in bios installation. I have tried to find my actual/original bios but I can not find it (F.12), I could see that it was F.12 because I took the picture when I first checked the bios interface.

Can anyone provide me F.12 firmware?

Checklist:

-I have tried to rollback through windows+v (windows +b did not work) but I see the cmos reset 502 screen (which says cmos checksum is invalid), so I can not rollback to previous bios (f.12).

-I tried to get the F.12 or the most updated firmware through HP support assistant but it says no update.

-I also tried to get the F.12 through windows update (I got all updates)

-I checked with driverbooster

I could not find the bios driver.

Can someone help me please?

I overcame this problem through an installation of W10 Pro. The bios is still f.07 but it does not cause the black/blank screen error anymore.
