Ive just bought a new Omen ax000nl and turned it on for the first time, he started Windows 10 update almost immediatly and hes stuck on 99% update procedure (he reached this percentage after hours).
I've restarted the PC and he started again the Windows Update procedure but seems he's having the same problem.
The computer is "as i bought it", no software installed, no devices connected. Only thing i made was connecting to my wifi so i can start the installation procedures.
Someone had the same problem?
Thx for any info.
Chris.

Hello @Sabrewolf
Welcome to the HP Support forum. Thank you for posting.
Please, try to uninstall any 3rd party security applications (antivirus, firewalls, etc...) . If your PC comes preinstalled with McAfee, you can :
- uninstall it from Control Panel -> Programs and features
- run this McAfee removal tool MCPR > http://us.mcafee.com/apps/supporttools/mcpr/mcpr.asp
Do perform a restart of the PC (restart, not shutdown and back on).
Try to run Windows Updates again - if the update is a big one like a Feature Update 1607 (Anniversary update) or something else, please leave it like that for several hours.
If it still doesn't work after hours of waiting, you can try to:
-> Run automated tool from Microsoft - Windows Update troubleshooter >> http://aka.ms/diag_wu
and/or
-> Reset Win Updates components - https://support.microsoft.com/en-au/help/971058/how-do-i-reset-windows-update-components
Hope this helps. Provide feedback and let me know how it goes.
