HP Pavilion g6-2123us Notebook PC
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I have a Hp Pavilion g6-2123us Notebook that came with Windows 7. I reinstalled Windows 7 to get a fresh start and now nothing is working. For example the Wi-Fi won't work and Wi-Fi button won't change. Any outside devices requiring drivers fail to install drivers. Ethernet internet not working either. What can I do?

Hi:

You need to install the AMD chipset driver and restart the PC so that your notebook's USB 3 ports work.

Select the W7 x64 chipset driver from the list.

The parts list for your notebook indicate that it comes with the Atheros wifi card.

You need this wifi driver for that model card.

You need this ethernet driver...

You can either burn the drivers to a CD/DVD and run them from there, or copy them to a USB flash drive, and plug the flash drive into your notebook's USB 2 port.
