PCI Express Root Complex (Code 28) - Missing Driver and battery stopped charging. I tried almost all ( restore, format and clean install even  removed HDD) but still nothing . what I have seen also the one with faulty battery not charging hard disk doesn't work when I removed HDD and i insert on another pc with working battery pc !

This is the id of error on 3 pc I have  with me, which is hp pavilion g7 , hp elite book 840g1 and hp 15 !

ACPI\VEN_HPQ&DEV_0004 ACPI\HPQ0004 <---- Device ID matches with our database *HPQ000

That missing device would have no bearing on why the battery stopped charging.

 

This driver installs the ACPI\VEN_HPQ&DEV_0004:
