Product: HP Envy

Locked out of HP Envy with fingerprint reader not responding.

Only have had computer since mid July 2020 but cannot remember pin or password.  Even ?'s for recovery aren't being accepted.  Tried F11, F2/8 but still need a password. At a loss. Any advice wouldbe greatly appreciated thx.

We are not permitted to assist in resetting passwords because HP considers that a violation of customer privacy. HP can assist in resetting passwords but if your original warranty has expired, they will charge you for the assistance.

For Admin password resets, you have to contact your regional HP Customer Support location directly for assistance.
