Hi @Booboobo,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand your HP 15-gw0010no laptop is now blue-screening on startup with ntoskrnl errors after USB ports stopped working, and memory diagnostics are showing errors. Let’s go through some detailed troubleshooting steps to determine the cause.

1. Perform a Hard Reset

Power off the laptop completely.

Unplug the power adapter and remove the battery if possible.

Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds to drain residual power.

Reconnect the power and try powering on again.

2. Check RAM

Since the memory diagnostic is reporting errors, the RAM is likely faulty.

If your laptop has two RAM modules, remove one and try booting with just one module at a time.

Swap modules and slots to see if the system can boot without blue screens.

3. Disconnect All External Devices

Remove all USB devices, external drives, and peripherals.

Faulty USB devices or controllers can sometimes trigger ntoskrnl crashes.

4. Boot into Safe Mode

Power on the laptop and press F8 or Shift + F8 repeatedly during boot.

If successful, boot into Safe Mode.

If you can boot into Safe Mode, back up all important data immediately.

5. Check BIOS Settings

Power on and press Esc → F10 to enter BIOS.

Reset BIOS to factory defaults.

Disable Fast Boot temporarily.

I hope this helps.
