When I went to download the print driver to my iPad and iPhone, HP gave me only two options for to choose from for an operating system: Macintosh or Windows. There was no option for iOS. How do I download the print drivers for my iPad and iPhone?

Welcome to HP Support Forum. iPad, iPhone and nearly all portable devices DON'T use drivers, they use APPS.

Now Firstly please check to see if your printer in the list:

  https://support.apple.com/en-au/HT201311

If YES, you can use the following steps to fix/setup:

iPad: http://www.apple.com/support/ipad/assistant/airprint/
iPhone: http://www.apple.com/support/iphone/assistant/airprint/

If NO you have to print using other apps (if applicable) such as

Regards.
