I have an HP EliteBook Folio 1040 G1

Im trying to install the drivers to allow my laptop to use the fingerprint sensor.

I've been trying for an hour but I cant put the drivers to work.

Do you know which drivers should I install?

How can I enable them?

For W10, you need this fingerprint sensor driver...

In order to use the fingerprint sensor, you need to install this software...

 

HP Client Security Manager provides enhanced Windows login and website single-sign-on capabilities. Security Manager is also the host for HP Client Security plugins, and therefore, should be installed before other Client Security modules. This package is provided for supported computer models that are running a supported operating system.

Didn´t work,

 

Searched  in my computer for new options after downloading the drivers but anything poped up. Which steps should I follow?

You're very welcome.

 

If you downloaded and ran the driver and software installation files, and you still can't use the fingerprint sensor, unfortunately I wouldn't know why that would be or what to do about it.

Maybe is the fingerprint sensor, that it migth be unabled. 

Should reformatting the laptop work?
