Hi Karen,

 

Glad that HP is willing to help you. In my case never heared from HP. Because I am Reliability specialists I use this example now in my presentations. If you have a function it should work, and otherwise solve it. Agreed and recommend to switch to the mac's, from reliability perspective much more stable. It's not only for PC, but for my HP printer as well.

 

So success with solving the issue and if it is solved, pls let us know on this community. HP: do not only solve for Karen, but for all of us!!

Hi Riddle_decipher,

 

Ik totally agree with spuv. Please fix this for all of us! This is not an incident that only happens to Karen. This is structural, happens to all of us and is still unsolved. 

 

I am very disappointed by the silence and lack of action from HP om this matter. Kudos to you though for picking this up. I hope toch see a solution soon!

They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number.

Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact.

Unfortunately Spuv, I have to report that after completing your suggestion about the "dismiss lock screen"... it took ten days, but I got a blue screen error again 😞

I hope it is still working for you

I've been having this same problem since I got my Spectre x360. I've done all the updates and troubleshooting you and others suggested and nothing has worked. If there's ever a fix, I would love to have it.

I've been having the same problem since I bought my laptop. Tried everything and updates BIOS multiple times. nothing works. Whenever the computer goes on sleep mode, I know there's 50% that all my work is going to trash.

Hi Roy,

 

Last week there was a new BIOS update (see HP support assistant). Perhaps that improves.

It is unclear what HP solved, but did not get blue screen since the last 4 days…..

I have the latest BIOS update (June 3rd, 2019) and the problem still exists.

It's like playing roulette every time my laptop goes on sleep mode.

I've also had this exact same problem since I got this laptop new. Just happened again. Lost my unsaved worked again. Is there a fix for this yet?
