Hi:

HP no longer sells recovery media for your model but you may still be able to order it from this non HP vendor at the link below...

Hi, thank you very much !

BTW, why software say the product is LF374AAR, but on the computer it self it is LF374AV ?

You're very welcome.

You may want to call the vendor at their toll-free number, and verify that the recovery disk set will work for your product number.

It probably will, but I can't say for sure.

If they say it won't work, and you can still read all 25 characters of the W7 product key on the Microsoft W7 COA label on your PC's case, you can make your own plain W7 installation media as follows...

Click on the Windows ISO Downloader.exe link to download the tool to create the W7 ISO file download.

https://www.heidoc.net/joomla/technology-science/microsoft/67-microsoft-windows-and-office-iso-downl...

I have zipped up and attached the Microsoft utility below, that will allow you to either put the file on a USB flash drive or burn it to a DVD.

Then you can install the drivers and available software you need from your PC's support page.

Final question : I cant download the media to a usb disk ?

I remember that one can do it from HP site, but I cant find it.

I ask because I want to install linux, so I have to erase HP-TOOLS partition before.
I prefer that I will have recover media, before install linux-mint.

Hi:

You can make your own plain W7 USB installer using the info I posted the other day from the Heidoc site.

If you order the HP recovery media from Computer Surgeons, that is going to come as DVD's, and you will not be able to create a W7 USB installer from those.

Hi,
It doesnt work, because I need the oem OS.
I've ordered a new set od recovery media, and a ned ssd,
but when I tried to use it I get "UIA write failed".
