I want to do partition of my hard drive on my new laptop. If I do it, will I be able to keep softwares provided by HP?

I tried to do partition myself, but it says it's Factory Reset.

And also where can I get those softwares if they are removed by reset procedure?

The HP apps come preloaded onto your PC and exist in the OS partition.  As long as you do not remove that, those apps will remain.

To repartition your drive, you will have to boot from a third-party partitioning tool as you can not change the properties of partitions that are currently in use.

HP does not provide their apps separately for download; instead, the way to restore them is to do a complete factory reset -- which will erase the ENTIRE drive, recreate the original partitions, and restore the original software, including the OS and the HP apps.
