Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am trying to reset my daughters laptop and when i go to do it it saying we have ran into a problem.. Which then wont do anything 

I have gone the right way but juat cant get past it.. 

More info needed and help if anyone can.

Welcome to HP support community.

 

How was the reset attempted, did you make use of the HP Recovery partition (F11) or did you use the HP recovery media? 
If you don't have an HP Recovery media and have attempted reset using the windows troubleshooter or a retail copy of windows, you'll need to order a recovery media: Click here for steps.

i have used the  Pressing the F11 key, clicking Troubleshoot, and then selecting HP Recovery Manager way but when it gets going just say  they has been a problem and wont factory reset ..

This might require remote access of the computer to fix the issue.

I request you to talk to HP support.

They might have multiple options to help you with this.

  1. Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp?openCLC=true
  2. Select the country.
  3. Enter the serial of your device.
  4. Select the country from the drop-down.
  5. Click on "Show Options".
  6. Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.
