I had purchased a hp laptop long back in 2010 with following details -
Serial: [edited] Product: WA781UA#ABA Model - dv6-2155dx
For windows 7 to Windows 10 upgrade, i need a original windows product key id. Unfortunately, i could not find on the bottom of the laptop as it is blurred. Is there any way to retrieve the same? Please note that OS is already upgraded to Windows 10 but while activation it is asking for a product key.

First off, you do NOT need the Windows Product Key for a Win10 Upgrade as that reuses the existing Key automatically.
Second, you can download and run this utility and it should retrieve the existing product key for you: https://www.tenforums.com/software-apps/2577-showkeyplus.html
Good Luck

Thank you WAWood for your prompt reply. If i enter a current key (the one displayed in ShowKey Plus), it is throwing an error as attached (Error Code - 0x8007007B). That is the reason i am looking for OEM key associated with Windows 7.

That message indicates that your PC uses a Windows license that requires connecting to a KMS server in order to activate.
There are only two situations in which this happens:
1) The PC has an Enterprise version of Windows and is connecting to the server maintained by the company owning the PC, since Enterprise is not available legally for individuals
2) The PC has a PIRATED version of Windows and is trying to use a built-in HACKED version of KMS to activate.
IF yours is 1), you have to contact the company providing you the PC because only THEY can activate it.
IF yours is 2), that is piracy and we don't support that.
