I got this computer "brand new" on Christmas. But in the past few days since then there's just been problem after problem.
First, I'm not even sure what this computer is. The box it came in said it was a Spectre but the sticker on the bubble wrap said something completely different.
Second, the charger that came with it was incorrect and didn't include the part that actually goes into the wall outlet.
Third, the screen does not work but I managed to see it by connecting it to my TV with HDMI.
Forth, there's already an account on it (so much for being brand new).
Fifth, when I try to restore I to factory settings (through recovery mode) it says there isn't enough space where Windows is installed so I can't even do that.
I'm beginning to suspect this computer was stolen then sold to the store where my dad got it (he was on OTR Truck Driver and out-of-state at the time). But the thing about that is that it had the factory bubble wrapping on it (where it goes under the lid), something I doubt a thief could have done.

From your supplied information, it is a bottom end machine called HP Notebook - 14-an013nr, its specs
https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c05214762
It is NOT a top end Spectre. Since you (or your Dad) bought from unknown source therefore all I can say : return it to its vendor, get your money and buy a different one.
Regards.
