Hi @JPS1913,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

If your HP PC running Windows 11 is showing “Too many sign-ins” and won’t accept your PIN, here’s a simple and safe way to reset access:

Step-by-Step Fix for PIN Sign-In Issues

Option 1: Use a Password Instead of PIN

  1. On the sign-in screen, click Sign-in options.
  2. Choose a Password instead of a PIN.
  3. Enter your Microsoft account password to log in.

Option 2: Reset Your PIN

If you can log in with your password:

  1. Go to Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options.
  2. Under PIN (Windows Hello), click Remove.
  3. Restart your PC.
  4. Go back to Sign-in options and click Set up PIN to create a new one.

Option 3: Use Safe Mode to Reset PIN

If you can’t log in at all:

  1. Hold Shift and click Restart from the login screen.
  2. Choose Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart.
  3. Press F4 to enter Safe Mode.
  4. Log in using your password.
  5. Follow Option 2 to reset your PIN.

Option 4: Reset Microsoft Account Password (if needed)

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
