Sistema operativo funzionante ma mancano dati prima dell'aggiornamento

Sistema  operativo  Wind. 11. Sul  sito  di HP  ho  trovato  aggiornamenti (4) che ho  installato;  tre  sono  andati  ok , il  quarto  andava  , credo  , a modificare  il  bios  ,  per  cui  alla  fine il  sistema  si  e'  riavviato  e  ha  cancellato  tutte  le  sessioni  che  avevo  aperte e non  ho  trovato  piu  tutte  le  cartelle  che  avevo  ,i  download, le foto.  Cartelle  tutte  vuote  , pero' il  disco, come  memoria  occupata, era  esattamente nelle  stesse  condizioni  precedenti  l'aggiornamento.
