Example: Notebook 14-dq1040wm
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP Notebook 14-dq1040wm that has been upgraded to Windows 10 2004.  Now the touchpad isn't working and I've tried downloading and reinstalling the only driver available which is for Windows 10 1909.  Is there a way to find out if this model is compatible with this Windows 10 Version?

Hello @EJComp

Welcome !

You may check on this URL >> https://support.hp.com/bg-en/document/c05195282

and here >> https://support.hp.com/sg-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-14-dq1000-laptop-pc-series/29205783/model/312913...

The device is not listed as compatible with 2004 (yet).

There are no drivers listed for build 2004 (yet).

Windows 10 build 2004 is not a security or important/critical update. It is a feature upgrade.  I would recommend that you wait and do not rush to install any new feature upgrade unless you are a tester or enthusiast willing to accept risks of installing new fresh software.

You may want to revert to the previous build (e.g. 1909) and wait until more information or drivers are available
